I moved into a new construction house last May in a brand new neighborhood. There is a Protective Covenant, but no HOA (yet). The protective covenant states:
WINDMILLS AND/OR SOLAR PANELS. No windmills or solar panels shall be erected on any Lot.
That is the entirety of that section. We had been told by the builder’s agent that we could have solar, just not on the ground. So I’m interpreting this as “erected stand alone on any lot (ground)”. Has anyone else seen this type of language before?
